Surrender All

"Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up His cross and follow me."  Mark 8:34

"Take all I am, Lord, and all that I cling to
You are my Savior, I owe everything to,

they cannot follow when I enter Your house.

Surrender

I was reading the Utmost for His Highest devotion for today and was struck by what Oswald Chambers said about surrender.

"[Surrender] is a question of being united with Jesus in His death until nothing ever appeals to you that did not appeal to Him...the whole of the life after surrender is an aspiration for unbroken communication with God."

Meditate on that for a while.
